Annual Meeting

On January 19 at 7:15 PM CAG (Citizens for Accountable Government) will be hosting its annual general meeting, but with a special feature. In addition to some brief general CAG business reports and the election of Steering Committee members for 2016, the meeting will include a guest speaker of national acclaim, Jason Lewis. Mr. Lewis will be addressing the issue of how we can protect our constitutional form of government, and the role that ordinary local residents can play.

Jason Lewis is a former nationally syndicated radio host, five-year host of a public affairs program on Minnesota Public Television, contributing columnist to the Star Tribune, award-winning author and longtime Minnesota resident. For over two decades, Jason has been a leading fiscal conservative voice in Minnesota and in 1998 organized the state’s largest-ever tax relief rally on the capitol steps in St. Paul. The CAG event presents a rare opportunity to see and hear an individual of his national stature.

Seating will be on a first-come first-served basis. The event will take place at the Prior Lake VFW Club in downtown Prior Lake, 16306 Main Street. Any changes to the event will be posted on the CAG website.

The signup form has been disabled for tonight;’s meeting. Hope to see you there!
